FONDATION UNI-AIDE FOUNDATION
ANNUAL RADIOTHON

St. Paul’s River, Québec (April 5, 2017) – Broadcasting from your local radio station, with local talent supporting local people, the 5th Annual Uni-Aide Foundation Radiothon will take place on Sunday, April 23, 2017 from 10 am to 4 pm. Presented in collaboration with CFTH RadioHarrington Harbour broadcasting at 89.9 FM, 97.7 FM and 98.5 FM, CFBS Radio Blanc-Sablon broadcasting at 89.9 FM and 93.1 FM, CJTB Tête-à-la-Baleine broadcasting at 93.1 FM and CJAS Radio St. Augustine broadcasting at 93.5 FM; the Radiothon is to support of the population of the Lower North Shore financially burdened by illness, and to enhance the quality of life for those living with health and/or social issues. The 6-hour Radiothon will feature the talents of local musicians and your favorite radio personality; all of whom, will be giving of their time to help raise funds for those in need in their community. Behind the scenes a team of volunteers will be answering the phones, making calls and managing various aspects of the Radiothon to ensure it is a success.

GRAND OPENING
LOWER NORTH SHORE BIOPROCESSING AND RESEARCH FACILITY

March 18th, 2016, marked a very important, and strategic milestone for the Lower North Shore and the Bioproducts Solidarity Cooperative.

The official grand opening of the Lower North Shore Bioprocessing and Research Facility in St. Paul’s River, Québec on March 18th, represented a significant achievement in the economic and social development of the Lower North Shore.

TV SHOW ON TVA SPORTS

Through a project of Canada Economic Development Canada and partners of the LNS Tourism Ah-hoc table, with the support of Melanie Gallibois Robertson, a partnerships was established with Grafikar - L’Agence Image multimedia to produce a video of the LNS.
 
As a result, the Coasters Association worked with  Annick McLean of Grafikar to produce a summary of the video, a
7-minute TV show that will be aired on TVA Sports 1 and TVA Sports 2 on Sunday, February 4th at 11:30 (12:30 LNS time) – free of charge. The narratrice (voice) is by Raymonde, selected by Grafikar and approved by Coasters.
