Filming the Lower North Shore

From July 19 to 30, our Videographer, Leah Monger, and Manager of Marketing and Communications, Honlee Etheridge, travelled to a few villages on the Coast to begin capturing the region’s unique lifestyle.

Accompanied by Nicolas Tremblay and Stephane Trottier of Prod24, more commonly known as the filmmakers of the movie Les Coasters, our team filmed in Harrington Harbour, Tête-à-la-Baleine, Bonne Espérance, and Blanc Sablon.

The trip, funded by the MRC du Golfe du Saint Laurent, allowed the team to capture precious moments with the elderly at the DG Hodd Pavillion in Harrington, the bond of a grandmother and granddaughter working together in the community garden in Tête-à-la-Baleine, the excitement of a family seeing the region for the first time in Bonne Espérance, the pride of a successful aquaculture businessman in Blanc Sablon, and so much more!

We are looking forward to filming more of our beautiful Lower North Shore in the coming months with trips to Kegaska, La Romaine, Chevery, La Tabatière, and St. Augustine.

More to film!

If there is a special and unique activity that takes place in your village and you think we should film it to help promote the Lower North Shore, let our Videographer, Leah Monger, know at [email protected]

The Coasters Association believes in the Lower North Shore and all it has to offer. We recognize the limitless potential of our unique and beautiful region and are dedicated to its development.
