Northern Research Centers

A division of the Coasters Association serves as a hub for science and technology in northern Quebec, focusing on social & economic development.

Our Mission

The Northern Research Center (NRC) facilitates and conducts scientific, economic, and social research and acts as a hub of northern knowledge. The NRC aims to synchronize knowledge from all fields of sciences to implement change, innovation, and growth in the Lower North Shore of Quebec communities.

To accomplish our mission, the NRC delivers all of its programs and services through three primary streams:

and develop the social development in Quebec’s Northern Regions
